Stopped by here for a quick snack while heading back to our hotel. First impressions....great array of empanada options. Each empanada is baked and also marked to let you know the flavor. The service could’ve been friendlier. When asked which ones were most popular or their favorite, the response was “all are great”. Which i don’t doubt, would’ve just been nice to hear a recommendation on what they feel are best sellers. Either way, we enjoyed the sausage and gravy, and the ham and queso. Both were very flavorful and delicious. Whenever back in the quarter we will stop in again.

I love empanadas! Period. These are the very best I’ve ever had. Order at the counter, nothing fancy, terrific prices. But WOW! Had the Peruvian Chicken and the Impossible Added the Chipotle Lime sauce on the side.

Let me tell you potential new customer, I'm somewhat of a food critic and this place doesn't let me down. I travel southern Louisiana in my line of work, weekly, needless to say I have endless time to try good food if I want. Im a fan of authentic, tasty, and fairly priced, a dangerous combo. I can honestly say for each of these being nearly 5 its well worth the price. This weekend my spouse and I went in and got 6 empanadas. Specifically Beef Argentina, Chorizo Mexicana, Gumbo, Chilean Beef, (new edition) Caprese, & the Guava Cheese, not forgetting the cilantro lime & chimichurri on the side. We cut them in half and share, so we're both trying 6 different empanadas. I say without exaggeration each one is like a separate dish inside the dough. It's as if they cooked a meal and filled these. I made a joke and said "I could actually eat a whole meal with this paired with rice or potatoes", and in all seriousness I really could. Whoever puts together these ingredients and cooked them knows exactly what their doing to the letter and the sauce pairing is too perfect. Both of these sauces went wonderfully with each one aside from the more dessert type like the Guava Cheese. I really have to speak up for all the fellow foodies, come here and get a handful of these, you will be hard pressed to be unsatisfied. Im a repeat customer and over the course of a year plus, the quality and taste has stayed consistent! Kudos to you Empanola, we get excited to come here when hungry in the area.

I was unsure of what to get but the person there was very polite when I needed help deciding on which ones to get. I got the spinach artichoke, buffalo chicken, chicken Peruvian, mushroom and cheese empanadas. I absolutely loved each one especially with the creamy green sauce and the chimichurri sauce. Before I leave, I’m making this a must stop by because their food was amazing!

I've never had empanadas before so I was excited to try this spot and their unique filling options. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere and subtle design. I ordered the shrimp and cheese, spinach and artichoke, and apple pecan. All the empanadas were flavorful and fresh. I like how the empanadas come labeled, it's clever and helpful to tell them apart! The service was fast and great.

Who doesn't love an empanada and Empanola has a wide assortment, making it hard to choose, so always buy extra cuz you can always heat 'em up later. Great walkaround food when shopping on Magazine Street.

Delicious empanadas with a variety of flavors! Grabbed a six pack so I can sample and share them. They're a bit pricey, but worth the price! Great service and the interior was nice and clean. Just good vibe all around.

Nice and casual spot that offers a nice variety of empanadas suitable for vegan, vegetarian, and meat eating guests. Ordered the pack of 6 and recommend the beef argentina and yellow curry. Also tried all 3 sauces and preferred hot sauce and chimichurri over the cilantro lime. Total came out to 31 which is pretty fair for 2 people.
